Dear Christmas Tree Customers and Friends,

This beautiful weather is making for ideal conditions to finish up our final tree trimming.  We have had requests for un sheared trees over the last few years, so we have not sheared all the trees as heavily as we might have in the past.  We have trees measuring up 20 feet this year. The Halloween snow storm made for a pretty picture on the trees, but did no damage as it quickly melted off the branches.  Our barn and carriage house are being readied and our kitchen is now stocked with the ingredients for this year’s chocolate chip cookies.  We look forward to welcoming you back for another season of cheer.

We greatly enjoy catching up with you and seeing how your families have grown and changed.  Some of you have come to Abbott Tree Farm for almost 20 years!

This year, after closely inspecting our field, we realized that we have more mature, harvestable trees than ever.  With such a large selection on hand we have decided not to bring in any precut trees this year.  So, if you are one that has enjoyed just walking into our barn and grabbing a pre-cut tree … Well, let us help make it easy for you!  Take a stroll around the field first (we think you will like the selection) and ask one of our staff to do the sawing for you.  In fact, have them then bring that chosen tree direct to your vehicle and tie it on.  Of course, then you can swing in the carriage house for hot mulled cider and home baked cookies afterwards!

As always, we try to keep an eye on the economy and do all we can to make having a fresh Christmas tree possible. Therefore, we are not raising prices, again this year.  Trees begin at $50.00 plus sales tax (7’ and under), but if you are able to find your picture on our web site in the 2010 gallery – you are eligible for a $5 discount.  Simply print out your picture and bring it in to receive your discount.

Best Wishes,
The Abbotts
